Meet the Staff

Mrs Avril Wilson (pictured above)

is Head Teacher at Balgreen. 

Mrs Dianne Bleakley (pictured left) is also Depute Head Teacher.

Mr Chris Kelly is Principal Teacher.

We have  a full time Janitor (Mr Hyland), Secretary (Mrs J. Smith), part-time Clerical Assistant (Mrs McGillivray), part-time Library and Resources Assistant (Mrs Pennycook) and a Computer Auxiliary (Mrs E. Little).
The school has visiting specialist teachers in Music (Mrs Barber), Violin (Mrs Cooper), Brass (Mr Hodge) and Physical Education (Mr Craig). Foreign Language Tuition (French) is provided by Madame Campsie.

The School has a wonderful team of Learning Assistants (Mrs Grant, Miss Stickland, Mrs Burns, Mrs Jack, Mrs C. Smith, Mrs Whiteford, Mrs Simpson, Mrs Duncan, Mrs Anderson, Mrs Sutton  and Mrs Tunnah) who work with class teachers to support individual children or whole classes.
We also have teams of Cleaners, Dining Room Supervisors and Playground Supervisors and are very fortunate to have a number of volunteers who assist the children in their learning and school activities.
